2 August 2016
wholeSEM’s team at the University of Surrey working with CRESS: Centre for Research in Social Simulation have released a fantastic animation explaining how their research explores the complex nature of household energy use to benefit consumers and meet the UK government's 2050 energy reduction targets.
The Surrey team are collecting data on social energy practices and the uptake of new technologies to develop an agent based model of social practices of household energy demand. Their aim is to provide their models to policy makers to help understanding of social practice issues.
